We are particularly proud to have been chosen to undertake this SPECIALreport which is the first to deal professionally with the field of Digital Art, destined for both professional and private environments.
When we first met Patrick Goubet (the artist behind ArtDisplay), early in 2006, we were immediately impressed by his genius and his ability to create works utilizing the specifics of digital language. Each one of his works becomes a creative matrix that informs and regenerates its surrounding environment. They reflect the biological relationship of an organism and its surroundings... “each enriching the other”.

Patrick Goubet has been able to transform the plasma or LCD screen into a fantastic support to convey his artistic emotion. Some have already thought of using flat screens as a support for an artwork just like a "digital canvas". However, this procedure not only often causes burn-in effect, but also fails to attain the artistic dimension offered by ArtDisplay.
